A Truly Awful Experience at Liberty Hotel.
I genuinely hope that no one ever has to go through what I did at the Liberty Hotel in Toronto. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel stays of my life, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
From the moment we arrived, things were terrible. The person at the front desk was incredibly rude and unprofessional during check-in, which set the tone for the entire stay.
The problems continued relentlessly. Starting at 7 a.m. every single morning, we were woken up by staff repeatedly knocking on the door for housekeeping. It was constant and completely disrupted our sleep.
The room itself was disgusting. The blankets were filthy, and the cabinets were completely bare—not a single cup, plate, or utensil to be found. When we asked for dishwasher or laundry pods, we were told we had to go buy them ourselves. The hotel also refused to provide basic amenities like toothpaste.
The breakfast was the worst I have ever had. I have never experienced such a low-quality, unappetizing breakfast in my entire life.
To top it all off, using the elevators in the morning was a nightmare. We had to wait for at least ten minutes every time, just to get downstairs.
This place shouldn't even be called a hotel. It's a complete disaster, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it at all costs.
