Overall, we are satisfied for our 4 night stay. Nice property, good location, access to grocery and street car. Great to have laundry in the room. Gym is good, clean, not busy. Some bad parts: parking is not the best, used Toronto City Parking in a nearby neighbourhood. The price of the room is too high. The bathroom is poorly thought out - two showers, but only a single hook to hang your towel, absolutely 0 counter space, left clothes on the floor. There's no lock on the bathroom door. The main bedroom night stand is tiny, had to put things on the ground. And very few accessible outlets to plug in things. The train sounds are noticeable, both at night and morning. So many scooter delivery people on sidewalks and everywhere, dangerous when you have a toddler! Probably too much nitpicking, but for the price we paid, expected a bit more.

We love Sonder!! Overall great experience

The Sonder at Liberty was an exceptional place to stay! The apartment was clean and stocked with all the necessities (although I do recommend adding oven mitts, was not able to find some). It’s in a great location, with lots of restaurants and takeout places. It’s not too far of a walk from downtown Toronto either. Getting into the building was a little difficult from the parking garage but once we got the hang of it, it was pretty simple. Everything you need is in the same building (grocery store, Starbucks, Canadian tire, winners, pet store, shoppers and even a wingstop). There is a daycare in the building as well so during the week, you will hear screaming children 6am-5pm. But honestly didn’t bother us at all! Overall, this is the second time staying in a Sonder, highly secured and I felt safe. We will definitely be staying at Sonder again and will be recommending it to everyone. Customer Service in the app, is amazing and reply’s within minutes.

I have been a huge fan of staying at the Sonder properties when travelling and this one has been amazing yet again. The location is perfect with groceries downstairs, a train right in front and so many restaurants and cafes within an arms reach. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent Place to Stay

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Staff are lovely and very receptive. Supermarket very close by and street car right outside which was perfect for getting downtown. The gym was great - very clean and very quiet. Only downside was the pool. We were under the impression that it was an indoor pool, but is in fact an outdoor pool only open during the summer months. Would very happily stay here again.

I had to contact customer service to get my check in information. Thankfully, they are very responsive and worked as fast as they could to provide it (approx. 1 hour). It wasn’t ideal to have to contact them and wait around to check in but it was a last minute booking and the apartment and location are great. I always lean toward sonder over hotels - best value for your money in my opinion.

An excellent stay

My first stay at a Sonder apart-hotel, and it will not be my last. The building was clean and well maintained, and entry with the app was extremely convenient. We also took advantage of the pantry to restock of coffee, which was also super convenient. The bedrooms are a bit tight, however the overall space of the three bedroom, three bath, unit was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and it made it extremely easy to prepare meals. The couch in this unit was also extremely comfortable.

The apartment was clean and cozy. The apartments complex is huge but the instructions to access the property were very clear. We have two kids and the two bedroom apartment was perfect, comfortable and the second bathroom was a plus. The tram line is right in front of the building, super easy to go anywhere in the city.

Hard to find the hotel and the room, no reception

Reasonable accommodations near the downtown but hard to find, and maneuver into the unit. Parking was also very expensive for one night of self-parking (in an empty parking lot). The entire process relies on your ability to handle cell phone apps with ease and electronic devices. With NO reception everything was difficult to find but not impossible.
