Enjoy 200 Feet of Private Frontage on Spider Lake

The Cabin on beautiful Spider Lake is a newly renovated 1,000 sq. ft. log cabin, including a spacious three seasons room overlooking the lake, with a cozy cottage interior. Just 20 minutes southeast of downtown Traverse City and all of its attractions, The Cabin can sleep up to eight people and is dog friendly with a 45-pound weight limit and additional pet fee. There are two bedrooms and two full baths: the Master has a queen bed and en suite while the second bedroom has a full bed as well as bunk beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Spider Lake is a 450 acre spring-fed all sports lake popular for fishing as well as water skiing, jet skiing and kayaking. Explore the many coves and islands with the four included kayaks. Lakeside you can enjoy the gas grill and firepit. When you’re not enjoying the beautiful lake, stay cool and comfortable in the hot summer with central A/C and Wi-Fi.

New beach area with seawall added in 2024! Now you can enjoy a sandy hangout right at water's edge!

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

Very nice little place

Nice, cozy cottage on the lake. One day it was very cold and rainy but was lovely to sit on the enclosed porch and gaze at the serene lake just the same. We did think it was a bit expensive for five days.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was effect for our needs and we had a great time. Only problem was the toilet in the bathroom was clogged upon checking in but we did have a second toilet to use. Other than that he property was perfect

Great place on spider lake! Super clean and nice cabin. Had everything we needed to enjoy our week there. Nicole from north land vacation rentals was easy to work with and responsive with the few questions we had. Location on lake was perfect! We would rent this cabin again for sure!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great time staying in this cabin. We loved being right on the lake. We spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the amazing view and taking walks around the neighborhood. It was the perfect size of our family of 3 and our dog. We would absolutely recommend to others!

Great Up North Feel

We loved our stay and really enjoyed the location on the Lake and proximity to Traverse City and the surrounding area. Real up north feel and feels very private with the wooded lot. The cottage is super cute, two bathrooms were great and the lake is super nice with a sandy bottom.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin on spider lake. The location is beautiful and quiet, and it’s sits right on the lake. We loved having the pontoon boat and kayaks to use all week. The cabin itself is very clean and well maintained. Would definitely come back for another visit!

My wife and I stayed here with our two kids. The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived as was everything around the property. The welcome book gave great information and we especially liked the information about the Loons on the lake. Seemed like we became Loon experts over the course of our stay, lol. We rented the pontoon boat and took multiple boat rides each day. The boat was really nice and we had no problems navigating around the lake given the instructions in the guide book. We used the grill a couple times and had no issues with it. Kids loved the playground. At night when the kids went to bed, my wife and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the stars. The only suggestion I would make is adding floor mats in the master bathroom. Both I and my son slipped on the floor after showers and I'm still feeling the bruise I have 4 days later.

Property was clean and has everything you could possibly need. Brighter decor was very nice. The deck is wonderful with a beautiful view. Only complaint is the sheets on master bed kept coming off the mattress due to the mattress pad.

Property far exceeded our expectations! Honestly, my husband and I were rather nervous about investing a large sum of our very little savings into a trip renting a home we aren’t familiar with.
