With 119 feet of private sandy Spider Lake waterfront & dock, this cozy 700 sqft cottage is the perfect intimate getaway with sandy beaches and stunning sunset views. This home mixes newer amenities with the rugged charm of northern Michigan! Also included are two kayaks!

This home is perfect for a couple’s getaway, family vacation, or friend get-together! You’ll have access to prime waterfront and all that Spider Lake has to offer including: swimming, fishing, boating as well as winter activities like ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.

The view of the lake from the cottage was wonderful.The host took care of a few problems that cropped up quickly.The property is at a great location on the lake.The downside was that the bedroom was very small with little room to walk out of bed on one side, the closet was very small for a one month stay for two people and the 2nd bedroom had no closet, so no room for guests belongings.

Nice cottage

This cottage was perfect size for us as a couple. We stayed for a month loved the views from the deck sitting on comfy outdoor furniture It was nice having the kayaks to go on the lake. Also the washer dryer was great to have. The snacks were a nice surprise and having beach towels included was a nice touch as well. I would consider staying here again if in the area

Beautiful lake vacation home

We stayed for 10 weeks this summer 2024. Beautiful location and lake is perfect to swim, boat, or just float. Kayaks and pedal boat provided. Appliances are new and cozy cabin feel inside. Sleeps 6 easily with bunks for kids. Very quiet area in woods with deer and lots of birds. We recommend highly for families or if you just want to get away.

Fall Color Weekend

This was the perfect spot for our fall color tour - close to hiking trails and Traverse City. The cabin is settled within the tall pines along Spider Lake and the deck is perfect for morning coffee overlooking the water. It’s quaint and cozy!

Cute cabin on the lake

We stayed for a week over the 4th and had a wonderful time. The cabin was quiet and peaceful with a great view…and very clean! Upon arrival, we appreciated how cute the cabin was decorated and the gift basket that was left for us filled with some goodies. We rented a pontoon for five days while we were there so we spent a lot of time in the water. The fire pit area down by the water was perfect to wind down after a day on the lake. The cabin was cute and cozy and everything an up north cabin should be. The management company was super responsive and always sent a quick response when we had questions. Great location as it was secluded but still only a short drive to Traverse City. Thank you for the great week!

Quiet getaway

Nice little hideaway, quiet and cozy. Walk out the door in the morning sit on the deck with a cup of coffee. Walk down the steps to the dock, get in my boat and go fishing. The lake is good bass and northern pike fishing. The cabin is nicely remodeled with a new deck. The only negative thing is air conditioning. Presently it doesn’t exist but I noticed the owners have a new electrical service waiting to be installed. No doubt it will be installed soon. A short drive is traverse city, plenty to do! Bring your boat and fish Lake Michigan! Great smallie fishing! I most certainly will be back! Well done owners!
