Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a fantastic time at this property. It’s private, lots of space and perfect for a getaway from this busy city life. One thing I could say is the mattress are not the most comfortable for sleeping but overall no complaints. Would return!

Perfect spot for a girls getaway!

This place had everything we needed from linens and bakeware to a hot tub and cute photo-ops. Also super close (walking distance) to Crowe River Conservation area which was so nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Great little getaway in nature

Scenic and Relaxing Winter Getaway

The hosts were kind and communicative, the hot tub was in good condition, and the area was easy to access. We had a lot of fun and it included all of the utilities you would need to make this an enjoyable, easy getaway.
The only thing is that we had to clean a few of the dishes when we took them out to cook food, as the guests who used it before us did not do a thorough enough job.
Overall - would highly recommend and would go back!

Beautiful property
Publié le 27 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband, infant son, and dog stayed here for a few nights. The property is beautiful, especially during the fall and there were a lot of things to explore in the surrounding area. The house was clean and linens were good quality. Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive and polite.
The only real downside was the amenities listed were not accurate. Despite the fact that the listing notes that they have a dishwasher and washing machine, upon arrival we were surprised to learn that those items are off limits. When we arrived there was a booklet of rules that mentioned that the dishwasher was not included in our rental and that there was a 25 minute time limit on the water usage. Given the price we paid to stay there we were a little taken aback by the rules that weren’t mentioned in the initial listing.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Hi Cassandra, thank you for your kind review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. I do want to clarify few things though.
- I would implore you to check the very first message I sent to you ( dishwasher is not listed in amenities and pointed out at the time of booking )
- there is no restriction on using washing machine or dryer.
- there is no limit on usage of water, the 25 min timer is for water pressure. Unfortunately after 25 mins the water pressure drops and that’s how the well water system works. So if you use it continuously, it just needs to be turned off for a minute to turn back on.
I really wish you would have messaged me at the time of the stay to clarify. Hopefully we get to see you again in future.

Cute cottage with everything you need.

The cottage was turn key and had everything we needed or wanted as far as linens, towels, dishes, pots/pans, modern TV etc. The hot tub was small but clean and easy to use. We made use of the bbq, fire pit and lawn area for games.
We also walked over to the Crowe Bridge conservation area which was just two doors down and $5 admission. It was a very pretty spot with the river cascading over the flat rocks that you can walk out on.
Communication with the owner was met with a prompt response every time and I was made to feel welcome to reach out to them at any time throughout my stay.
