This picturesque 1920s guest cottage features beautiful interior architectural detailing, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, pantry, washer/dryer and comfortable furnishings. The flexible floor plan of this inviting cottage allows for cozy accommodations for a couple or can be equally comfortable for a party of eight.

Tucked away in a beautiful garden-like setting within a private horse farm estate, Aberfoyle is perfectly situated to offer easy access to all the wonderful amenities of this area. Equestrians will enjoy the convenience of being just 4 miles from FENCE and only 15 minutes from TIEC. The charming towns of Landrum, Columbus and Tryon are minutes away and our adjacency to I-26 allows for quick trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Brevard, Cashiers, DuPont Forest and all the myriad attractions of this highly desirable area.

We loved our stay Aberfoyle. The setting was peaceful and was the perfect place for our girls weekend of laugher, food and catching up. The cottage was adorable and provided a cozy retreat that we were very comfortable in while being in a great location for exploring during the day. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The setting is so peaceful and serene — a deer greeted us ( from a distance) upon minutes of our arrival. My daughter and I agreed that we would both love to live there all the time. But I guess we will have to settle for another visit.

Perfect house for our family of 4 adults and we didn't even need the third bedroom. (you have to go outside to access it, but it's very private and comfortable.) We highly recommend booking this home. Helen was responsive and welcoming and kind. House was spotless and comfortable. 5 stars all around. We will absolutely be back.

Stunning views and amazing character!

The photos do not do this house justice. The character and charm is incredible, and the property is inviting and cozy. My husband and I stayed with his father and our toddler, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We didn’t realize the third bedroom was not accessible from the main house, but the bedrooms are spacious which allowed us to keep our toddler in his travel crib with us. Helen was so inviting and friendly, and her pup, Willow, was our toddler’s favorite. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to visit again.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you needed (maybe a Keurig coffee maker would be a nice addition). We had no issues but Helen seemed very nice and always available if we needed her. I am sure we would stay there again.

Beautiful home nestled in the woods at the crest of a hill. We very much enjoyed our stay and loved meeting the host's dog, Willow. There is a lot to do in the area around Tryon from equestrian activities to antique shopping. I am pretty sure we will be back.
