Nestled behind Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort and Water Park, and just minutes from the stunning Starved Rock, Matthiessen, and Buffalo Rock State Parks, this spacious 1,800 sq. ft. villa offers a perfect retreat for up to 8 guests. Whether you're exploring nature, relaxing, or enjoying local attractions, this villa is your home away from home.

The villa features two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, a single sleeper sofa, a private vanity with sink, and a luxurious jetted tub. There’s also a cozy fireplace in the master suite, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The second bedroom offers two queen beds and a double sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have private balconies with serene outdoor views.

Relax in the spacious living room, complete with a second fireplace and a 55” smart TV featuring streaming apps like Netflix, PrimeVideo, and Hulu. The room is perfect for cozy evenings with family and friends.

The fully equipped kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the cookware essentials you need. Step outside to your private patio or enjoy the common grilling area, just steps from the living room. A new washer and dryer are also available for your convenience, and there's ample overflow parking.

The villa provides hotel-quality bedding, towels, and linens, as well as essentials like soaps, shampoos, laundry detergent, and basic kitchen staples. Free WiFi is available throughout the villa, and a newly installed water softening system ensures a refreshing shower after a day of exploring.

Located within walking distance to Grand Bear Resort, you’ll have access to a park for children, a gazebo with an outdoor bar, a mini golf area, and a water park (entrance not guaranteed; subject to capacity limits). Please note that mini golf and water park passes are sold separately by the resort and are not included in your booking. Starved Rock and other beautiful state parks are just a short drive away, offering endless outdoor adventures.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway! Our family had an wonderful stay. From the moment we booked, the experience was seamless. The property itself was even better than the pictures. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. The location was perfect – close enough to Starved Rock State Park and other wonderful attractions.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already planning our next trip back. Great place and fantastic location

The condo was fantastic—exactly as pictured! The kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped with high-end appliances. We came to the area to hike at Starved Rock State Park, and this was the perfect place to stay. It was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The host was great—very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay minus the check in process. Better communication in providing directions would have been helpful. I would suggest signage as well to label the letters on the blogs.The house itself provided everything we were hoping for and then some! We appreciate how clean the unit was upon check in. Access to games, cookware, etc was so thoughtful! Oh and the Christmas decor made it feel like home! Nice touch!!

We had our family Thanksgiving dinner at the cabin. There were 13 of us. We had a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room for us all. It was so comfortable and beautiful. We will definitely be booking again!

Fall Getaway Fun

We knew we loved the area and had stayed in another cabin previously but this one was far nicer. Upon arrival we could tell the property was cared for and much cleaner. We all loved the cute fall decor that gave us all the homey vibes. The kitchen had a great selection of cookware. We will definitely be back and chowing this property!

Well equipped and a lot of space

Very large home on two levels. Lower level: kitchen, living, bathroom, washer, and dryer. Upper level: bedrooms and bathroom. We stayed 3 nights and found everything new, well designed and in almost untouched state. The owner provided several non-stick Tefal pans. It was quiet and we could sleep well. We recommend the place and would like to come back.
