Lovely hotel-highly recommended!

The AZUR is a beautiful small hotel walking distance from the cruise ship terminal in Vancouver. The staff was exceptional and the dining room served delicious food. It was a straight mile walk to the must-visit Stanley Park. If we return to Vancouver we will stay here again!

My room was beside the Staff utility room. The opening and shutting if the staff door made me jump every time because it was so loud. It was like banging on my room wall. Noise started at 9am while I was trying yo sleep. Also, I had extended my stay so was moved to a different room. As a result, the chromecast was still connected to my old room, so I was unable to connect to the TV in my new room. This is my third time staying at this hotel, so fortunately, I know how good it can be.

Love the room decor, built-in Chromecast on the TV, heated bathroom floor and electric curtains opener. Turndown service at night with little chocolates was a very nice touch. Also providing bottled water was very nice as well. Loved that Azure thought of the little things which make your stay more pleasurable!

The stay itself was pleasant, but what happened afterward was deeply frustrating. During my time there, I neither used nor even saw a garment steamer in the room. Yet, after I checked out, the hotel charged me $110, claiming I had taken it—without reaching out to me for any clarification before that. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. Had I known this could happen, I would’ve taken a video of the room as proof. It’s extremely upsetting that the hotel would charge guests for something they didn’t do, without any proper investigation!!!!
