Totally disappointed except for the check in lady

I booked the hotel for my mom(53), brother(27) and niece(5) as they came up for a funeral. Finally got to check in after services, around 830 or later. Booked as they had a pool. DO NOT CURRENTLY have a pool as "under new ownership so they are remodeling the pool first" we were told at check in. No elevator, their room was all the way down the hall on the second floor. Walking through the hallway, the carpet was bubbled up due to a room in the middle being renovated and large blowers going into the room with backflow lifting the carpet. Finally get to the room, 5yo goes to the bathroom and there is NO TOILET PAPER! Brother goes to sit on one bed and a random half drank waterbottle rolls out from under the bed. I walk back down to get tp from front desk and the lady was nice about it and apologized. (I think shes the only reason i didn't give all 1 star) get back to the room and sit at the door of the second bed, and it's wobbly. My mom says well we just have to counter balance and went to sit opposite of me, and the bed made a huge clanging thud sound and sank where she had sat. The air conditioner/ heater panel was damaged but still kinda worked. The smoke alarm looked as though it had been ripped out as there was just a frame and some wires there. Other furniture was badly damaged and over all it was pretty bad. If it weren't for how tired and emotionally drained we were, we would have left and found another hotel!!

Pool is closed for maintenance, has been for at least a month. Internet is down with no fix time. I specifically requeated a hotel with a pool and free internet. Didnt know either until after we had checked in and went to use either of them. Canceled my room and now im fighting to get my money back

stay was good, staff was good esspesially Kelly she was extreamly helpfull and nice.

It was really good but they did not have any breakfast they served breakfast in a bag or coffee makers in the room.

They advertise a free breakfast. Well, they had none at all! Cable in the room didn’t work. Walls smelled of fresh paint. Pool and spa both inside were closed. $200 security deposit for this place is ridiculous. Been waiting and it has yet to be refunded but says it will be. Last time I ever stay there.

The pool wasn’t available and breakfast ended before check out. Not a great look for a place that requires a $200 deposit that wont be returned for up to a week.
