A depressing place in a part of New Westminster that is probably safe enough but isn’t attractive. Parking is offsite and did not feel secure. Everything about this property says minimal effort. Not recommended.

Very helpful staff and so convenient with the skytrain, parking, cafes, and shopping. Also, beautiful location with the water-side park just across the road. Even with the heating off, the room was somewhat stuffy, however. Unfortunately, you might hear the constant sky train from 5:30am, but the ac unit should help to drown that out.

I wouldn’t house a dog on the state of the carpet in room 442. Terrible condition with stains and dirt ground into the carpet. Overall the room was adequate. Replace the carpet!

We came for the weekend and the hotel is in so so condition. We didn’t feel like we should take our shoes off on the carpets. The ceiling height was nice and the front desk staff was nice. The parking seemed a bit excessive at $18 a day for New Westminster getting a discount at the pub even if it’s only 10% was nice.

Enjoyed my stay

Awesome little hotel with great character. You can tell she’s old so the little things didn’t bother me it’s clean and very spacious. Staff are the most friendly I’ve ever seen at hotel. 100% for that. A few spots of wear and tear but beds were clean and comfy. Close walk to the sky train and the quay for all its cute stores and views

We like the location, it's easy to get to when driving in, it's right beside the skytrain station, there is parking near by that is reasonably priced. There's the pub below with good beer and food. There's the river walk just across the street along the river. It's older but the character is nice.

We have been going to the Met for over 5 years and has seen it decline sadly. The fixtures are worn and the bathrooms need a renovation. The staff are always great. The area isn’t great but it’s not bad, nice and close to the skytrain.
