The property was unique, very good spot to get to areas around Venezia, easily accessible to St Marks Square , accessible to other area of location and check in is more simple than it sounds would recommend

This property was great for our needs. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There were even outlets on both sides of the bed which was helpful compared to some of the other places we stayed on this trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Casa Dolce is basically guest apartments operated by Bella Venezia so there is nobody onsite at Casa Dolce. This was not a problem for us in any way. Check in was completed at Bella Venezia and then they helpfully walked us the half dozen blocks to Casa Dolce. This was really helpful because the streets of Venice feel like a confusing maze the first day or so. Breakfast is available as Bella Venezia for 12 euros. It is buffet style with a good selection of food options, but it is hard to beat a cappuccino and a pastry at one of the nearby cafes. The location was a short walk from Piazza San Marco and about a five to ten minute walk to Rialto Bridge so it was very conveniently located. If you are traveling with large/heavy luggage, keep in mind that a ten minute walk over uneven surfaces and multiple ups and downs on stairs over the small bridges can be taxing. Overall, Casa Dolce was just right for our needs and we had a great stay.

The view exceeded my expectation!! The location was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The only thing I would change is higher seats on the balcony and a fridge for drinks so that more time could be spent sitting out enjoying to the view. Absolutely can not wait to come back!!

They had us come to another place to checkin and then wanted us to upgrade to that hotel for twice the price. The room was ok but the air could not keep it cool. The bathroom sink leaked and left the floor continuously wet

Right in the heart of venice

Lovely superior room right in the heart of Venice. The room was lovely, good a/c, comfy bed. Rooms cleaned everyday. Couldn’t complain could even just see canal from window. Only thing that could improve was having a fridge in the room but as the spar shop was literally opposite this wasn’t really a problem. The court yard in pictures no longer looks as nice as this but the whole building itself was quite quirky, very Venice and one of the cheapest rooms I could find so close St marks square. Bit of a faff checking in at a different location but our room was ready early so no problem really. Overall lovely stay.

Dried pasta on bedside table. Otherwise clean. Shower did not turn on (one night stay tried to shower AM before leaving). Annex was on a canal, needs updates but was nice even though repairs were obviously needed. Friendly staff. Hard to travel with luggage from hotel to annex, no porter available.

Martina on front desk amazing - but it is an old disused hotel - no amenity. The rooms are very tired and pictures make it look good when in fact it is a closed hotel. You also have to check in at their main hotel - and then walk to the accomodation - not ideal after a long flight. The atmosphere is bare, water damaged and the rooms are very tired. Would not recommend.

I liked the architecture and the vintage decorations of Italy. In Venice the Hotel location was close to the public transportation and was walkable to go to St Marks Square and the restaurants and shops. Most of all because it was so hot in summer, the air conditioner was great.
