I am glad they take pets and have little fenced dog area. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel, I get jt. The area is ok. The rooms are old but clean. First observation driving up there is a big unoccupied field next door with trash around the edges. Not a pretty view...
The outside dumpsters, cracked asphalt lot and trash all around the parking lot makes it look bad. A rag was tossed by the front door and water bottles tossed around with trash. Trash cans are broken and the paint marking door steps is worn. But like i said the room was clean and thats the most important. Upon arrival I noticed the door had 3 locks.i can see why as some unknown person banged on my door at 845 pm ..the. again the next night at 830pm. I was alone so i called the front desk to asm how that could happen two nights in a row?!?! Also upon check in there was a person at a kiosk to check you in. Its new and i didnt know it was actually a real person bc the desk person said it was AI. It was not AI ....motel 6 had one person in Dallas ru ning mutiple front desks at a time from one location. Please pick up the trash in the lot and notify the city
Very loud location. Horrible mattress. Did not service room daily even though we had a reservation for a few days. Did not even stay last night decided to forgo the amount we had already paid and go somewhere else. Warm and humid in room even with A/C. We have stayed at other motel 6 in Ventura and had a great experience and was not as noisy even though on a busy street and near freeway. Would not stay again.
Was scheduled to stay here before a trip and after to the Channel Islands. I stayed on the front end for two nights but it was pretty miserable. Dirty hotel and really loud. I didn’t sleep much. Instead of staying for a night after my trip I decided to cancel and stay at another hotel. I received my cancellation email but later realized I’d never been refunded. The hotel tried to lie and say I had stayed there again and said they had a photocopy of my ID as proof. Well yeah, I gave you my ID when I checked in the first time and you made a photocopy of it. I never checked in again though. I ended up needing to file a chargeback with my bank which they immediately approved once I sent them my cancellation confirmation. This hotel tried to scam me so fair warning.
I had a reservation booked and the attendant told me to come back later she was busy with some count or something.. I just wanted to get in my room and just relax so I can be at work in the morning. But I waited the .5 hr.. then she opened up. But she looked annoyed. I get it, but that's something I reserved and it's time running on her clock or not. It seemed quiet that night.
