Beautiful old building. Very nicely kept with a magnificent view of craigdorroch castle. Quiet neighbourhood with a special feel of stately charm owing to the large old homes and well kept properties. If you like a castle tour and old architecture this is for you.

The Guesthouse is in a lovely old neighbourhood about a 20 minute walk from the Inner Harbour. Craigdarroch Castle is next door and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is close by. The decor is traditional and you can pay $10 for a traditional egg and bacon breakfast with a warm croissant and jam. There is also a guests' kitchen where you refrigerate or store food.

This is a wonderful guesthouse right by Craigdarroch Castle and a 30 minute walk downtown (or take the bus). As long as you don’t mind carrying your luggage up many stairs. The guest kitchen & use of laundry an added plus.

Appears that the Craigmyle, built in 1912, is the oldest B&B in Victoria. The building is in excellent historical condition & it was nice to be situated directly across from the castle. Rooms are a tad small, but clean & well kept. There is no A/C or elevators. Staff are friendly & accommodating. We enjoyed the $10 breakfast along with complimentary coffee & tea. The common areas of kitchen, living & dining room are cozy, well kept & inviting. Kitchen area is convenient for preparing your own meals & snacks. Location of Craigmyle is a 20-30 min walk into the downtown area with shops & restaurants along the way (Fort St), bus stop nearby.

Very quiet area right next to the castle, clean and nicely decorated rooms, very comfortable beds, access to the large living room and kitchen area and fridge. Lots of stairs outside and inside and no ac for hot summer months, but not a problem in September when we were there. Would recommend
