The hotel is located steps away from Praterstern, which was super convenient not only for getting around the city but also to the airport (a better and less busy option than downtown, too!).
Even though it's a bit outside of Innere Stadt / the old town, it was still walkable in approx. 20 mins, and reachable in a few minutes by Vienna's metro (again, Praterstern is just down the street).
Our room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for our stay. A bit more storage space would have been helpful given the sink took up quite some room and isn't usable for storage. A completely separate bathroom would have been nice, as it's a bit chilly to get out of the shower and then just be in the main room (also, I traveled with my partner - but if you're traveling with a friend and get such a room... hope you're both very comfortable with each other, haha!). No noise issues.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the common spaces were fun.

Posted Nov. 30, 2023 on HotelsTSH does not deny that the original name was The Student Hotel. The rooms are very simply furnished, which can be surprising. The air conditioning is controlled very ecologically, so take an extra hoodie🙂 The lights are digitally controlled, so it takes some thinking to understand how it really works💡 Self check-in requires an ID which I couldn't find in the documents from Hotels.com, but the staff was very helpful,so it was OK.

I loved the hotel and the atmosphere there. It has everything one might need, very well located, close enough to the U and S stations, from which you could go anywhere in Vienna. The street is big and busy, but it was very quiet in the room. Very clean, very delicious tea options in the room. Also enjoyed breakfast buffet - has a lot of food for any taste. The staff was extremely friendly, supportive and professional

Definitely recommend
Posted Nov. 14, 2023 on HotelsWe stayed for my Mums 65th birthday and the staff made sure it was one to Rememeber. On check in they gave us free tokens for a hot drink to be used at the restaurant. When I went to use 2 of them on the birthday morning, the kitchen staff gave another 2 free so all 4 of us could enjoy togehrer. Also they brought out a really big cake for my Mum. At night when we were playing cards, they put muffins, fruit and fresh orange juice on the table with a special birthday message for my mum. I cannot fault the hotel. Thank you for a great stay!
