Overall quite nice. Room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nice - nothing fancy, but decent food and decent selection. Staff was very friendly. Just one block from the 'main street' with several dining options and stores.

A bit dated, but has everything you need for visit. Restaurant has great dinner options, breakfast buffet excellent. Very convenient to sites, easy to find on way to/ from glaciers.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice hotel and the rooms were excellent. The continental breakfast had so much variety and the food was freshly made. The staff at the registration desk were also accommodating letting us borrow an electrical converter for the night.

Iceland was experiencing a summer wind storm so we spent a portion of our evening at the hotel. The location is close to restaurants if you want something different. The bar at the hotel was lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. It was easy to find and has parking. Overall a great stay.

I would not stay there again if it was free. The floors in the hallway and the room were dirty. See photo and zoom in, housekeeping kept walking by and not cleaning it up. They don’t have washcloths at the hotel annd the towels were dingy and old. Our window was not working and the beds were uncomfortable. The free breakfast was absolutely horrible. Didn’t even bother to eat it.

Loved the floor to ceiling windows with an incredible view of the beach and Reynisdrangar! We enjoyed a delicious fresh breakfast buffet. Dinner was expensive but a wonderful experience. Heated floors in the bathroom are a nice touch. My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay.
