Stunning setting in Vire
Posted Jul. 29, 2018 on HotelsLovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was a bit 'tired' but for what I paid, I cannot complain. Coffee, Tea, Kettle in room. Bed very comfortable indeed. Toiletries supplied and super shower. Wifi excellent. Ask at reception for a connection voucher.

Disappointing

Dear Peter
I don't think thaat our breakfast can be classified as standard. Everything is home made, we propose eggs cooked the way you like. If you wanted something else you could ask for which obviously you did not.
Our breakfast is served and not a buffet so we can not put everythong on table.
And on the platform it is written continental breakfast anyway.
Sory that you were disappointed but next time you should ask for what you need

Quaint and charming
Posted Sep. 1, 2017 on ExpediaLoved it! Comfortable room, great air conditioning (a rarity in France, we discovered), extremely friendly staff that spoke English, and very accommodating. We loved our room and the view. We could hear the local church bells ringing every day, and they recommended we drive up the hill (less than a five minute drive) to eat our picnic as it had a great view of the town. They were spot on! We loved our experience here and would definitely stay again. Old world charm on the outside but updated rooms on the inside.
