Cute, comfortable, and convenient but…
Posted May 12, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat space for a medium sized family to enjoy VA Beach away from the main strand.
Hosts put a lot of effort into making this space a “home away from home”.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I spent the weekend brushing what we believe to have been pet hair off our clothes and sweeping away one or two dead insects.
The biggest disappointment was a lack of hot water in the guest bath. To their credit the hosts notified us in advance of the problem and did their best to fix it before our arrival. However, our request for a % reduction in the per night rate was dismissed out of hand. In spite of the issue with the hot water, the hosts requested a 5 star review (or none at all) and were very detailed about how we could make things easier on housekeeping as we exited the property.
Had it not been for the hot water and dissuasiveness, we’d absolutely stay again.
For future vacationers, this might have been a one off occurrence but beware.

Short walk to the beach. Somewhat above average.
Posted Apr. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayGood location. The nice beach is wide and was sparsely populated but was because of the Easter weekend and cooler weather. I can’t imagine it being like this during the summer vacation season. Hard to get the “lay of the land” at first esp finding the way to the courtyard where the grills were. Glad we found one that worked as several seemed out of order or broken. It’s an older condo building. The exterior was a bit grungy but the unit itself was updated and had everything we needed. The double-switched entranceway/hall light was annoying with the motion detector because it would come on when walking out of any room even though it was turned off at the other switch. The TV has an unending selection of apps which is great if you have subscriptions and can login.

Beach condo
Posted Mar. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was a beautiful decorated condo. We had beach and bay views from our balcony. Our host had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They had a nice kitchen so we could do some meals in.They also gave us some great suggestions for things to do around the area. So helpful! We had a great time, hope to come back again!

Great spot.

The place was as described and met all our needs. I would recommend and revisit.

Comfy condo in a great location

Great Stay
Posted Feb. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a nice stay. Unfortunately this was not a vacation for us, so we basically only slept at the condo. The condo was decorated nice….love the Carolina Blue. There was plenty of room for us and thank you for accommodating our service dog.

Nice getaway even in winter!
Posted Feb. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat, relaxing unit on the beach. It was cold, but the unit was cozy. Nice floors, kitchen, and a lot of space. We really liked all the seating options in the main living area. Lights and drawers were labeled which was a major plus. Make sure to ask the nearby restaurants when their kitchen closes in the off season. However, it all worked out!
