The room was very nice, although, because of the fireplace, it smelled of wood smoke. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and we really appreciated the towel warmer. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony, even in the pouring rain. I took the forest walk - how special to tromp through th “jungle” on a well maintained trail.

Rooms were dated and tired with old furniture, carpet and bathrooms that have probably been around for decades without an update. No AC but night time temps are cool. Lodge dining was expensive but fine.
