Welcome to our nicely remodeled 3rd floor unit featuring gorgeous views throughout the unit of Maalaea Bay, the grand volcano Haleakala and the sparkling Kihei lights at night. The unit is tastefully decorated with the spirit of Aloha and has a large split air conditioning system throughout the condo along with ceiling fans in each room to ensure you stay cool during your stay. Both bedrooms have TVs, comfy king-size beds and spa-like, private ensuite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers. The unit also features a state-of-the-art, well-equipped kitchen. The condo also provides for your fun... beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, binoculars for whale watching (when in season) and a cooler for your excursions

MAALAEA KAI COMPLEX:
Maalaea Kai stands ocean front, with designated parking lining the front of the complex with ample space and shaded by palm trees. Grounds are well kept with all sorts of greenery; palms, pink and red ginger flowers, red and green ti leaf plants, plumeria and vibrant shrubs adding to the Hawaiian feel. The complex is outfitted with two elevators: one front and center to the complex, the other one at the west end of parking lot. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April). Grounds include a spacious, gated pool and community gas grill area for Maalaea Kai guests and residents to use and enjoy. At night, this complex is lit with tropical tiki torches to take you back to the old Hawaiian days.

The oceanfront view was even better than pictured. We Although we didn't cook any meals, we appreciated the small but updated kitchen which was well-equipped, including a Keurig and traditional coffee makers. Parking just below the unit was great. Nice swimming pool. Good to be aware that the there are few shopping and dining choices nearby so we regularly went to Kihei (15-20 minute drive each way) for groceries or meals.

The 2 Br with AC worked out great for 2 couples. Was nice to be close to the marina for easy access to Snorkeling trip. We were able to see Sea turtles in the water in front of the condo. Donald was very responsive to my messages. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing views - wonderful stay!

My brother and I traveled to Maui to attend a memorial service for our uncle. This was our second time staying in this unit. It was perfect for us as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. (I'm a good sister, so I let him have the master with the ocean views.) Both of us did work a couple days while we were there, and the desk was a wonderful place to set up and listen to the ocean waves through the open lanai doors while working. The unit is on the third floor and during the second half of our stay, we took full advantage of the trade winds blowing through the unit to keep us cool day and night. The views are outstanding! The lanai has plenty of space to sit and enjoy morning coffee while watching the sunrise or enjoy a cold beverage in the afternoon. The grounds are well kept and also a good place to sit and enjoy paradise. We didn't use the pool, but it looked quite inviting. The host and on-island managers were very responsive, and the condo has everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing stay. I highly recommend this unit and hope to stay here again sometime!
