Smells like smoke in the lobby and rooms

Why does the whole state of Louisiana smell like cigarettes?? The front desk lady said she didn’t smell it at all.

The first thing that caught my attention was they wanted a cash deposit for incidentals instead of a credit card ($100.00). Who does that? I have stayed in number of La Quinta Inn's but I won't be doing so again. It was noisy and the gym was a joke. Staff was good and breakfast was disappointing.

It’s okay for a night, the place is outdated. Breakfast was good but the yogurt was expired.
