Comfortable, clean, neat hotel. Starting to show a little wear and tear. Had natural gas smell in our room and staff moved us. Our door kept getting stuck. Not a bad stay and breakfast was ok. Will stay here again.

New hotel, but too cool for its own good
Publié le 15 déc. 2023 sur HotelsHotel was clean and appeared to be new, although our bathroom door had rust all over the hinges and squeaked in the middle of the night when you opened and closed it. When we checked in, we must have interrupted the employee from smoking pot, because the stink was all over him. I'm sure the design and layout of the rooms are some corporate branding design thing, but lights are in weird places, the closet has no walls and the only furniture was a bench on the opposite wall. Downstairs they had board games and a pool table, which looked fun but didn't get a chance to try out. Breakfast was awful and limited choices compared to other chains. We only stayed here because they took pets but we might try some of the other options around Winona Lake next time.

Thank you for your feedback and your information is noted. I will speak with all of my staff about the importance of appearance when at my hotel. I am sorry that you did not appreciate the room layout and / or the plethora of food available at breakfast. The Tru by Hilton brand is a bit different and is not for everyone but I do hope that now you know what to expect that you give us another chance when you are in the area. Thanks again
