Watkins Glen 3-Bedroom Suites Unit 2

Summary:

3-Bedroom 3-Bath Townhouse Unit 2. Constructed in August of 2016, these townhouse style 3-bedroom, 3-bath units are tucked up against Watkins Glen State Park. Unit 2 sleeps 10 guests in queen beds made up with fresh linens for your arrival. The three full bathrooms, one on the first floor and two on the second, are stocked with clean towels and washcloths.







The living/dining area has comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV with a large cable channel selection and a dining table with seating for 6. The full kitchen has basic cookware, dishes, glasses and flatware. Easy check in with code for entry supplied prior to your arrival.



Located in a quiet, wooded area, Watkins Glen State Park is literally our back yard. It is a short walk to the main park entrance and the downtown area and less than a mile to Seneca Lake.



Each suite is allowed to park 2 cars on the property, please plan ahead as any additional cars will need to utilize street parking downtown.



Guest Access:

This property is entirely at the disposal of the guests.



The Neighborhood:

Watkins Glen has a little bit of everything: A beautiful state park, scenic lakes, wineries, a lovely downtown for shopping and dining, parks with playgrounds and swimming.



Getting Around:

Much of what Watkins Glen has to offer is within walking distance. Transportation within Watkins Glen State Park is available for a nominal fee, and arrangements can be made for transportation for wine tours and other events by visiting the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce website

Property needs work. Stove doesn’t work right. Not big enough fry pan. Light is poor in kitchen. Grill doesn’t work. Needs lots of work. Location is great. Parking is adequate. Dirt in cracks in sofa.

A couple of the AC units had some issues but these were relayed to the host so hopefully they will be fixed before next group arrives. Host is very responsive when contacted. Some of the smaller appliances don’t work as they should (ie the toaster and coffee pot). No e of these issues kept us from staying and enjoying our 4 day weekend. Excellent location. Quiet.

Great stay for on the go group

Convenient location to all attractions, restaurants, trails and waterfalls. Town house had the basics, even though a few mattresses were worn and the water heater could not handle multiple showers in a row we would all return for another stay.

Everything was good. The beds were comfortable and it was spacious. All the TV’s worked and we had WiFi. The only issue was that the hot water ran out before our fourth person could shower. And we weren’t sure the heat units were working, but fortunately, we did not need heat this time of year.

Friends Weekend Away

Group of friends and spouses spent a weekend in wine country. The check in/check out process was very easy as Courtney was always in constant communication. Location is prime and you can walk into town or right to the Watkins Glen State Park. We utilized the grill for dinner a couple of nights. Very spacious. Our group likes individual bathrooms and this met the needs of everyone. Would highly recommend.

A convenient location

If you are looking to stay within walking distance of the town of Watkins Glen, look no further. Unit was clean, a fairly well stocked kitchen, and A/C units in each room. Plenty of parking.

An outstanding value if you have 5 - 6 people in your party. Has a nice kitchen/living area for evening gatherings. A real bargain on race weekends, costing only $500/couple for 3 days. You could further economize by eating in. Property is in good condition with ample parking.

House is a perfect location for us and close to all the state parks we want to visit and place was clean and very quiet. The only downside was wall unit AC was not working (did not get an email regarding it) and 2 out of 4 portable ACs provided was not working properly.

Needing Green

We were happy with the location and what the home offered. The town and the falls are awesome. Suggestions: add grills and picnic tables for each home. There were only 3 and we did not know which to use due to all 3 not being located near our doorway - Unit 2. Also the door handle needs tightening.
