Offering all the comforts of a home away from home, incredible shared amenities, and a prime location near downtown Wells and Drake's Island, this well-appointed condo won't disappoint! Inside, you'll first encounter a spacious living room with a sofa, an armchair, a queen Murphy bed, and a flatscreen TV with cable on the corner. This is a great place to unwind indoors.

Next is the kitchen/dining areas equipped with a full-size fridge, a stove and oven, a two-person dining table, and another flatscreen TV with cable–this is the perfect setting for daily lunches with a side of entertainment thanks to the TV. Right off this area is the main access to the enclosed, wrap-around balcony. Here you'll enjoy natural light for days; you can take a break from daily life at the seating area, conveniently equipped with a small coffee table, perfect for snacks and coffee time. Back inside, the main full bathroom offers a convenient tub/shower combo.

Additionally, guests will be granted access to a series of incredible shared amenities that include gas grills, a laundry facility, a pool table, and an indoor swimming pool!

You'll be within walking distance to Post Road where you'll find convenience and grocery stores and antique shops such as Reed's Antiques & Collectibles and Wells Union Antique Center. Downtown Wells is a short half-mile drive south. There, endless dining options, coffee shops, and Wells Corner Shopping Center await. The beach access is just under two miles away at Drake's Island Beach.

Things to Know
The community pool is closed January, February and March. It reopens in April and April thru August you can swim from 8am to 10pm. September thru December the pool also is open with pool hours of 8am to 9pm.
Please note that the Murphy Bed will require the ability of someone to lift 75 - 100 pounds to operate. There are instructions on-site on how to operate it to avoid injury.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Poor communication from host

While this is a nice place in a nice location, I would not recommend staying anywhere run by this host. When I arrived at the unit, it was 8 PM, and after a long day, my partner and I were looking forward to eating dinner and relaxing. There was supposed to be a key in the lock box for us to enter the unit. There was no key in the lock box. When we called customer service, someone gave us another location to check, but the lockbox didn't open there, and they did not have the correct code. We had to wait outside, eating cold pizza in the car for quite some time until someone was able to come and open the unit. The person gave no apology, had no key for us, and gave no indication as to when we might receive a key to the unit, leaving abruptly after opening it. The next morning, when we wanted to go out, we had to leave the unit open, so that we would be able to get back in upon return. This meant packing up all of our stuff and taking it with us. Someone finally came around noon to give us a key, and I have no idea if it was the host or a maintenance person as this person also offered no apologies for the inconvenience. I requested a refund via the verbo messaging system, and have yet to receive a response from the host. I don't know how to contact the host directly as this was hosted through Vacasa, and I am awaiting compensation for the considerable inconvenience. I would not recommend renting any units that go through Vacasa as the customer service appears to be terrible.

Clean and Quiet

This little condo was very clean, well decorated and had an amazing wrap around, screened porch that was great for coffee drinking in the morning and enjoying at any time of day. There’s a great breakfast place within walking distance called Brewed Awakenings that has yummy breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Our only complaint about the condo was a need for curtains in the living room—there was a nice shade, but the lights outside the condo were bright and curtains down the sides would help block that light from coming into the living room/bedroom. (Murphy bed in the living room) A very nice stay, however!

What a lovely place! Only two issues: slider shades were broken & coffee pot handle was also. Both still operational. Wonderful place with a phenomenal wrap around porch! We enjoyed it a lot!

A wonderful getaway

Our stay at this location was perfect. The property was immaculately clean and had all of the comforts of home. Upscale furnishings and everything we could need. We would stay there again.
