The Cricket Pavilion, Warham, Norfolk

With views of paddocks and just a mile inland from the North Norfolk Coast, this old cricket pavilion has been brought back to life as a glamping style hideaway. Boasting direct access to both the coastal path and the village pub in Warham that offers the perfect place to relax and unwind. For an additional charge, you can unwind in the hot tub under the stars.

Inside The Old Cricket Pavilion you are greeted by a warm and cosy ope-plan living area - all with quirky cricket touches, so you never forget the interesting past of this bijou bolthole. Wide windows line one side, giving you views across rolling paddocks from every aspect of the pavilion.

There is a super-king bed at one end with hand crafted cricket ball lamps on either side. There are two wicker chairs and an old Singer table for those evenings when you wish to dine inside, or watch something on the smart television.

The cosy kitchenette has a hidden under-counter fridge with icebox, double electric hob, air fryer and sink. There is even a Nespresso machine for a morning coffee on the decking. The bathroom has a wide shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Stepping outside, there is a decked area with wooden chairs, perfect for sitting back with a drink and a good book. Down the steps are two vintage-style ornamental benches leading to a lawned area surrounded by a wire fence. There is also an outdoor table and chairs and summer loungers, providing plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A firepit/ barbecue is perfect for alfresco dining.

There is a wood-fired hot tub available for an additional charge, which is heated by guests, offering the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the North Norfolk Coast. Outdoor lighting is kept to a minimum so the night sky can be fully appreciated. Feel free to bring a torch for additional light.

The village pub, The Three Horseshoes is only 250 meters away and there is a small path direct to the back of the pub from the pavilion.

The beautiful North Norfolk Coast is also accessible directly from the property; you can walk down the owner’s driveway and join the coastal path at Stiffkey marshes. To make the most of your stay, we recommend you staying at least two nights, giving you time to explore the popular coastal villages of Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham, and Cromer.

Golfing is available at Old Hunstanton Golf Club.
Sailing is available in the local villages of Wells-next-the-Sea

Additional Information:
A wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional charge of £75 per stay. Due to the remote location of the pavilion, the wood-fired hot tub cannot be heated for arrival. This may take between 2 and 4 hours to reach temperature, depending on the weather conditions.

A starter pack of logs, kindling and firelighters is supplied for the hot tub with more available to purchase from the village shop.

The hut is located in a rural location surrounded by open fields. The owner occasionally has access to the nearby fields.

Two well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge. There is a wired fence, but it is advised that dogs are kept on the lead, as small dogs may be able to pass through. Please note that dogs must be kept off the furniture.

Parking is by the hut and accessed by a track through a meadow. Please note it is an uneven track.

Unique place to stay!

Beautiful location; lovely view to wake up to & good to see horses on the field. Pub nearby was great & a lovely part of the country. Few issues in the pavilion but owners very helpful to sort them out asap!

Lovely little place in a peaceful area, the cricket pavilion has everything you could need for a short break - plus some thoughtful and welcome extras from the owner. Excellent Pub literally 5 mins walk away through the horse paddocks- their pies are delicious! Would definitely recommend the property and may well be back ourselves! Thank you :)

Cricket Pavilion

Could be much better. TLC needed . Cleanliness could be better. Hot tub took way too long to warm up and was disappointing overall. However the location was good and the local pub good for food

What a wonderful find!

I booked this as a surprise for my Husband Keith’s Birthday. He has always been a cricketer so this seemed a perfect choice for our weekend getaway. Everything about our stay here was exemplary. We met Kirsty on arrival which was fab and she was very helpful with info on how to get across to the pub easily ( very important) and also gave us some history on Cricket at Warham and the annual Bank Holiday cricket match that takes place on the original square on the bank holiday. The accommodation was just perfect for us and our two dachsies. Very well equipped and good shower. Plenty of hot water and heating easy to use if required. The bed was literally a dream, like sleeping on a cloud. The surroundings were stunning with our lovely neighbours the horses and far reaching views across the fields in all directions. We loved all the very tasteful cricket themed touches too. We cannot recommend this little pavilion highly enough!
