We had to cancel our trip due to floods which caused all trains to be cancelled while we were travelling to Wernigerode. We contacted the hotel as soon as it was clear that we would have to turn around but they were unwilling to offer us any form of refund or re-booking, even though the reason for us having to cancel was entirely out of our hands. It’s the middle of winter (therefore the off-peak season) and a sign of good faith from the hotel to us would have been very welcome, even though the policy on their website is clear regarding their unwillingness to offer refunds at short notice.

Publié le 29 juill. 2023 sur HotelsDer Aufenthalt hat nicht stattgefunden, da meine Tochter 2 Tage zuvor einen Unfall hatte und nicht reisen konnte. Mir war bewusst, dass das Hotel nicht stornierbar war hatte aber auf Kulanz gehofft, dass wir die Übernachtungen eventuell verschieben können. Leider hat Hotels.com nichts erreicht und meine Mail blieb unbeantwortet. Wenn die Inhaber solch einen Service grundsätzlich haben……..
