Room for was dirty. Fridge had food and droopings in it, toilet was filthy, coffee pot has molded packet in it, pot dirty, cob webs…could go on and on. Place is older which doesn’t bother me, it was the lack of cleaning that was extremely bad.

3rd year in a row for deer season accommodations. Frankly, it is all you need, close to food and groceries, gas and Wal-mart. Room was clean and warm. Staff was friendly and helpful. A good experience.

Room was clean and quiet. Refrig, microwave, and T.V. all worked great. But I did have a problem with the tub and tub faucet. First the faucet handle was lose. When I turned the water on,all I could get was very, very hot water. I had to get dressed and go out to my truck to get a screwdriver to fix it. Then when I turned the water on I noticed the bottom of the of the tub was very slippery. I slipped and fell in the tub. I tried to get up but I slipped and fell again. I had to roll over the side of the tub to keep from falling again. Very,Very dangerous!! A tub mat is needed, or something to make the tub bottom less slippery.

Pleasant Motel

The room was pretty nice for rural, northern Michigan and had a delightful lake and central green space in the middle of the rooms. It was simple but comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

We stayed here based on the reviews. There were many positive reviews and 2 negative ones. I doubt what the 2 negative reviews said. We had a very nice room. We stayed in room 18. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. As many times as I've driven by this Motel, I've never noticed it. This is a gem. I will stay here in the future when i visit West Branch. The Lady that owns it is very nice. She has owned it about a year and a half. You can tell she has put work into it... and will continue to.
