Moldy, water damaged & not a place I'd recommend!

At first the communication with Host was good, but as soon as I mentioned a MAJOR issue she ghosted me! Denied any issues, refuse to help solve the concern (I booked 2 nights & had to leave due to extreme mold. I asked for a refund for the night I had to leave & she only said "I have 5 star reviews" - but go look that's only 2 stays (& was probably friends) so laughable. I was a Licensed GC for 20+ yrs & know construction so trust me when I say I know this is a joke - paint on a pig! Check-in was fine but immediately upon walking in it reeked of musty odors! The AC wasn't on & house was stuffy & stale (there is no Central AC). Even after opening all the upstairs windows I still had a migraine. There is water damaged wood everywhere, mold in shower, around sink, behind toliet & more. They just painted over the water damaged vs tearing out & replacing. Decorations were cute so I can tell someone tried but the mold in this place is a MAJOR health risk!!! Kitchen counters were wood with no finish & stains. The locks on door (mainly back door) is hinky & with glass panel isn't safe. Stairs are narrow & creaky so good luck carrying suitcases up that way. I would NOT recommend this place due to all these major issues.

Quiet beach town

We stayed 10 days. Communication with the owners was excellent. The house was very clean and owners even stopped by after a few days and dropped off more towels. The porch was nice to sit and have a drink in the evening. The view from porch is a house across the street (no water view) the bedrooms have air conditioning. None on first floor but plenty of windows and screen door to allow airflow. They also have a grill which was a nice option that we used. Our favorite place to visit was a coffee shop down the street. Very friendly, really good coffee and they love dogs! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cute, quiet, and peaceful house by the sea

This is a beautiful unit with all you need for a relaxing sea-side escape. The furniture downstairs was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The bedrooms were a good size for 2 people (each) and the beds were comfortable. The immediate area was a wonderful place for morning and early evening walks. The nearest beach wasn't really swimmable but the town beach was very close with soft sand and not crowded. We enjoyed our stay very much.
