Secure garden and Off road parking for 2 cars. 3 bedrooms - one double, one double plus a single bed and a single room which is downstairs. The bathroom is upstairs. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. Television with DVD player, Full central heating and electric log effect fire. Only 2 miles from Whitby and Sandsend. Next to a small Alpaca farm. Open views over farmland. Cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. WiFi connection recently added.

We loved it here and will definitely return. It was easy to find and in a great location between Whitby and Sandsend. Our grandson loved the alpacas and Pauline let him feed them and collect eggs. What a wonderful experience for him. The cottage was great, very cosy with everything you need. Parking is easy and safe and there is a lovely garden. People have commented on WiFi but we didn’t have an issue. It dropped in and out but was fine for what we needed. There is enough to do to not need screen time all day and night. Our grandson didn’t want to leave - and neither did we! I can’t wait to book another visit.

Second time we have stayed at this lovely, clean, spacious property. Ideal location so close to Sandsend beach and had a lovely meal at The Stables, just down the road. Cannot fault a thing apart from the Wi-fi signal - at times there was no signal and had to search for areas in the house where we could pick one up (sometimes at the top of the garden) Just to note this wasn’t a problem last year when we stayed. Not ideal for 3 teenage kids, but we survived and this did not stop us from having a great time away.Thank you for the eggs and milk.Would love to return one day.

Great location to head into Whitby. A few nice touches from Our hosts who were very friendly. Dog friendly was a huge bonus. All round good standard. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant is closed in the village, but there are plenty of places in and around Whitby to buy food and have a drink.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was amazingly well equipped and clean. When we arrived there was a pint of milk in the fridge and half a dozen eggs waiting for us which was lovely. Thr cottage does have wifi which we had wanted as we have teens and one of them had a live webinar booked for uni while we were away but the wifi was too slow so he had to miss it. Really lovely cotrage and would stay again.

Fabulous time

This is a lovely place to stay, a real home from home. Close to Whitby beach and Abbey also a 40 min drive to Scarborough. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The eggs and milk were a lovely touch. We are definitely going to go again

Lovely quiet property close to Whitby

We had a great short break to visit the area and the goth weekend. The cottage was perfect for our needs and Pauline and Bob were very helpful. The kids loved feeding the alpacas! Easy walk to the park and ride to get a bus into Whitby, and a 5 minute drive to beautiful Sandsend to enjoy the beach. We hope to be back!
