Welcome to Hinterland Hideaway Farmstay, Wilsons Pocket. Your own private airconditioned house nestled in a secluded valley with sweeping panoramic views on a serene acerage. Our farmhouse combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Use the fire pit and wood-fired BBQ/outdoor kitchen, explore the walking trails, encounter wildlife, hand feed the Chickens, Ducks, Sheep, & Guinea Pigs, and watch the Birds & bright stars. Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Noosa are only 30-40 minutes away. This is where the serene country meets the beach.

The space
This is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a large lounge room and dining/kitchen area. It also has a very large front and back deck, a quadruple carport, and a separate outdoor kitchenette area (that has a sink, large outdoor dining table, running water and a fire pit/BBQ). There is also a separate gas BBQ on the front deck.

This property can cater to 12 (including the use of the Cot).

All with 100% cotton sheet or bamboo cotton to keep you cool. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, and the property is air-conditioned (and with heating). So you will be in complete comfort in either winter or summer during your stay.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and there is also a high chair provided and children's plates, cups, bowls and cutlery. High chair is by request (no charge).

Babies & Toddlers: We also have a cot that is for babies and can convert to a small bed for toddlers (so please note: this makes up the 12th spot, so please let us know if your baby or toddler is coming in the numbers, and let us know if you would like us to make up the cot for you).

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom: Large master with Queen Bed and ensuite bathroom with an additional convertable Cot (to cater to both babies and toddlers). And we can put in two single trundle beds for larger groups.

Bedroom 2: It has two single beds and an ensuite bathroom (Which has two-way access) .

Bedroom 3: Queen Bedroom. Bathroom 2 has two-way door access, allowing easy access to the bathroom.

Lounge Room: Has a Queen Mattress Sofa Bed and we can place an extra single trundle bed for larger groups.

If you have 11 guests (including a baby or toddler), two extra single trundle bed will be provided and is included. For booking under 7 guest (including baby) three extra trundle bed can be provided for an extra $25 each a night). The trundles can either be placed in the lounge room or the master bedroom. Please advise us of your preference if ordered.

We have also provided a Bluetooth speaker, board games, and a Karaoke machine available (on request) for your entertainment. We can also provide a Wii console and DVDs.

No additional guests (over 12) are allowed unless approved by us beforehand.

Guest access
You can access the full farm property gardens and your house while you are here. Chicken feeding/Duck Feeding/Egg collecting and guinea pig feeding are also available by appointment for free.

Other things to note
As we have multiple dams on the property, it is important to monitor your children at all times.

There are great activities in the area, so you have the best of both worlds - the serene countryside (without all the crowds). You can go do the following for additional adventures during the days.

Tin Can Bay (wild Dolphin feeding) - 30 mins
Kin Kin: 22 mins
Permona: 35 mins
Rainbow Beach: 40 mins
Noosa: 40 mins

To note: Treeby Road is an unsealed road (it is a smooth, unsealed road that is accessible by all vehicle types). The driveway to your property is also unsealed but accessible by all vehicle types (unless there is extreme wet weather and you don't wish to drive up, then you are invited to park securely in the shed, and we will transport you and your luggage to your house free of charge).

Being in the country, reception on the phone is fine for Telstra (up to 5G), and on the balcony at the property, you get better reception from Optus and Vodaphone, but it's not great for those providers. But once you connect to the Wi-Fi, you can make Wi-Fi calls.

We don't have a TV reception, but we have free Wi-Fi, and you can live stream TV from the apps. We have DVDs for you if you want a movie night. We also offer free Disney Plus, Stan, Netflix, Disney plus, Binge and Prime complimentary and free Wifi :).

Pets: Need to be pre-approved before booking. As we have specific terms for them to be able to stay here. Dogs must be on a leash the whole time while they are here outside of the dog-fenced garden of the house, as we have free-range chickens, ducks and cows etc on the grounds.
