Went to check in, they required me to pay the full price for both rooms up front plus the damage deposit, so I have to dish out 1700 before we even seen the room, they never made the beds asked them to remove the garbage and towels and they did not do that either, until we called down and went down the the front desk. Was musky smelling in our rooms the air conditioning didn’t work. Won’t be staying there again.

Loud and inconsiderate staff conversations in hallway at 03:00 am. Very old and unsupportive mattresses. These together made for a complete waste of money trying to get a decent sleep. I left feeling robbed.

The room was overall clean, but small corners (like under the edge of the sliding door in the bathroom, and the edge of the bed) were grubby. Wish there was better control of the waterslide - many kids one after another, after a large kid landed on my youngest, we gave up. The restaurant was so-so. The kids' pepperoni pizza tasted BAD - like maybe the pepperoni was off? And so I ordered something else. They didn't remove the charge for the pizza though. The rest of the food was fair to middling. The snacks and drinks in the machines and the lobby were incredibly expensive - bring your own! The staff were very kind - although they could do with better communication. I got 2 hotel rooms for myself and kids - and they didn't give us side by side rooms, although I called that morning early and requested it. But overall, other than that, they were accommodating.

The door for the washroom was broken, was unsafe for my 1yr old because it was off the hinges. I asked for a crib and was charged $10 a night, the crib was broken on one side, yet again was unsafe for my 1yr old. Terrible experience because the staff was so rude to us. Plus I overheard the security talking negatively about some guests. Wont be staying there again

Due to many wildfire refugees housed at the hotel during our stay, security staff were very visible. Security employees were everywhere you looked. It made us feel uncomfortable, wondering why the extra security was needed. A number of intoxicated wildfire refugees were noticed by us in and around the premises. We chose to stay confined to our room after witnessing this. We left first thing in the morning.

Good things are more than bad things in Victoria Hotel. It doesn’t mean there is no room to improve the service. Let’s talk about a few bad things since everyone enjoys good things as expected. 1. I was given wrong keys for my room 364, which I was discovered by the desk at the time of my check out. Thanks 2. I stayed more than half an hour in front of the door and lastly it was opened by the security. 3. I requested the desk to bring me the keys because I was too tied to go to the desk. I was told that someone is getting the keys for me at my room. Unfortunately, no one showed up. 4. The wash room was not clean. There were hair on the floor and shower areas.
