We usually stay at the inn when we come to visit our daughter at college. This time the stay wasn’t as pleasant as it has been in the past. They had us in one of the older rooms. The floor leaned towards the hallway. The door to the room actually only open part way as it hit the bottom of the floor. Also the water for the shower wasn’t hot. Luke warm at best. When I asked the front desk about it the answer I received was they had a hot water tank go down and had a new one installed and were trying to dial in the temperature. It didn’t get better the whole time we stayed. Breakfast wasn’t up to the normal standards either. It seems due to the lack of people staying at the hotel that time they scaled back. It is a shame as we enjoy staying at the Inn when we come to town.

The Inn at Wise is our absolute favorite place to stay when we travel north. The rooms are clean and beautiful, staff is kind and helpful, and the inn it's self is a treasure.

My wife and I were in town for a family funeral--not exactly the best of conditions. However, the amazingly warm and friendly staff at The Inn at Wise made feel welcome, as if we were members of their own family. The kindness and warmth we were shown from the entire team, especially Laken, the General Manager, was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. It was our first time staying at The Inn at Wise, but it will certainly not be our last. If you find yourself needing a place to stay in Wise, or anywhere in Wise County, Virginia, for that matter--there is no better place you could choose.
