Nature retreat on Enoree river

Privacy, luxury and nature-for you! Luxurious apartment in our home (owner-occupied) - on nearly120 private acres, overlooking the Enoree river. Visitors are blown away by the view and the sound of the river. Beautiful walking trails and 2 kayaks available for use. There is a beautiful waterfall located only 600 yards upriver, by kayak. There are deer, geese, beavers, bald eagles, turtles, herons, river otters, etc.. 15 miles to GSP airport and 21 miles to downtown Greenville and Spartanburg. (No pets, smoking/vaping inside, or guns!).
Please read before you book:
Guest apartment is in the bottom level of our home. We are on floors 2 and 3. Kitchen: Granite countertops, full-size refrigerator/freezer, range, microwave and a well-equipped kitchen (toaster oven, toaster, blender, etc.). Living: Sofa, loveseat and chair; TV with Firestick and a good selection of DVDs. Bedrooms: Queen beds and full-size dresserswalk-in closets; Bathroom: Sink, tub/shower, and toilet. Laundry: if your stay is 5 nights or longer, we will give you access to our washer and dryer area. Bunny petting: $25 per 30 min or $40 per hour. One of the owner needs to be present and you must message to host ahead of time to schedule this activity. Visitors: if your visitors plan to spend the night, you need to add additional guests to your reservation and there is a charge of $10/per night/per visitor.

What a beautiful setting to retreat to. The space and provision were perfect for our short trip. Hope to make it back when it is warmer to experience the river a little more.

This rental exceeded my expectations. I was visiting the area for what I knew would be a stressful event. As an older woman, having someplace that is safe and secure is always something I aspire to. Having this location to return to each evening was incredibly appreciated. The hosts went over and beyond to make my stay perfect. In South Carolina there are tons of 2 lane winding roads and there is really no way to miss them and you shouldn't. Make that part of our experience. Enjoy the drive and what the local area has to offer. You will not be disappointed.Thank y'all for giving me a great experience. If I am ever back in the area, you will be my place of choice to stay!

Lucia and Chris are exceptional hosts. The property is gorgeous with the sound of the rushing river making our stay remarkably relaxing. Eagles, heron, deer, tiny frogs, make this nature’s haven! Would definitely return!

It was like leaving the busyness of every day life and pausing to listen to the river, walk the trail and still be close enough to enjoy a play at the Peace Center in Greenville. This quiet comfortable place was for us! Lucia and Chris welcomed us w/smiles & even offered to carry our luggage to the downstairs apt. In front of our designated parking spot we talked abt the lob eared bunnies Lucia raises. They were clean and well attended w/love by Lucia & daughter, Lexie. Abt 100 & the cutest babies! Apt in back faced 4000 ft babbling river that was breathtaking. Perfect for an experienced kayaker (kayak avail). Bench & nice paths for hiking along the river w/remnants of an old mill. Inside was just as inviting. 2 BRs on ea side of a living room/kitchen combo & 1 BA. The colors of green, brown, creams & white, touches of blue & plum echoed nature outside w/very tasteful decor I like to call understated elegance. Even a candelabra! All BRs and LR had river views. The tub/shower combo had a handle for stability and 3 combo dispenser on the wall. Plenty of hot water and pressure. Tall toilet & equipped w/hairdryer & curling iron. Floors throughout hard w/1 runner, huge closets, pantry w/more than needed! K-cup crockpot Garnite counters, soft touch closing cabinets so sleepy heads could snooze aft. long days enjoying cornhole around the covered patio w/plenty of oversized lounge chairs/ottomans. No cable/dishwasher but not missed w/many dvd's & outside nice sink. Flowers around grand home that were loving cared for. DON'T PASS THIS BY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Private. Will stay again! Beautiful every season even winter! Tks for peace of mind stay L,L&C!

This Place is the best!

Beautiful inside and outside. The owner's of the property are amazing. The rooms are extremely well appointed. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed and I am fussy when it comes to cleanliness. All rooms have huge windows and give magnificent views of the river and forest. We saw 2 bald eagles everyday of our 3 day stay. I love this place and we will always rent it when we stay in the area.

Great place to stay during Joe Nall Week

We were in town for Joe Nall Week at the triple tree Aerodrome. We had never been to Anderson but found this beautiful home on VRBO. The pictures and description is exactly what you get. The home is a hidden treasure on the river. Everything is immaculately kept and everything you need is there. Just bring your suitcase and a few groceries and you have a perfect getaway.

Little piece of Heaven

I loved the property and it's owners. Everything was quiet, the leaves were beautuful and rhe sound if the river, mesmerizing. My friend was not able to join me so i came alone and felt perfectly safe seeing that the apartment is part if the house. A touch of paradise

The most lovely remote home with breathtaking views of the river. Peace and serenity are both offered here and provide a nice break from hectic day to day life. The home owners are very kind and offer friendly prompt communication when needed. Definitely a place we will visit again. My favorite thing I would like to add that you don’t often see is that the floors were clean. Like squeaky clean. So refreshing and definitely a highlight that you don’t see often.

Relaxing riverside getaway

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. We loved the hanging chairs by the river and could have sat there for hours listening to the water. The use of the kayaks was a great addition to our stay. Our son loved having the ability to go out on his own and explore the water. The owners were very friendly but definitely didn’t infringe on our privacy during our stay. Chris was gracious enough to let our son use his fishing pole, which was definitely one of the highlights of our time there. He caught several small fish and had a great time!

Amazing!!

This is prob our favorite VRBO yet. The view is spectacular and endless adventures await you. We used the kayaks to go to the water fall and spent hours in the swings just listening to the water. The hosts are very nice and the accommodations excellent. It’s very well stocked and clean. The cell service isn’t good but that was fine by us. WiFi is good so we just communicated thru online options.
