Where do we start?
Fabulous. We were very impressed with the staff.
Alina was professional, polite and could not do enough to ensure our stay was what we had wanted and expected.
When we arrived (during one of the hottest days this year) the fan in our room did not seem to work. We went down to report the issue at 5pm then never thought anymore as we went for dinner. Upon our return a beautiful, brand new, large fan was waiting. They had rushed out and managed to find one, which was amazing.
The breakfast was more than enough, even if you had a very big appetite it would have been more than sufficient. We had fresh fruit then full English breakfast and as much tea, coffee, toast you could want. Andrea (hope we got your name right!) and all her breakfast team were friendly, attentive, courteous and ensured our particular breakfast orders were prepared as we wanted.
We stayed two nights and each morning the staff asked about our previous day and if there was anything more they could do.
We would definitely recommend this hotel. Although no restaurant facilities for the evening this was not an issue. In Woodstock there must be 10 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Plus discounts were offered at various restaurants when we mentioned our stay at the hotel.
WE WILL BE BACK. Next time with our friends.
