Escape 2 Unwind in this stunning Period York property! Located in Heworth, just a short 10 minute stroll to York's ancient city walls and bustling town centre. Guests will love the property's eclectic mix of period charm and contemporary architectural styling when visiting. With generously appointed living spaces, luxurious interior with high end finishes, Minster Views, and free parking, guests will have everything they need to ensure a relaxing stay in York.

We are local to the area, so if there is anything you need during your stay, we're more than happy to help.

The home is located in the ever popular Heworth area of the city, close to York's historic centre. The house itself is located off the local high-street, East Parade, and it's village green. The area is well served with various supermarkets, local pubs, and shops nearby.

The home is located in the ever popular Heworth area of the city, close to York's historic centre. The house itself is located off the local high-street, East Parade, and it's village green.

The property has recently undergone a full renovation, creating more functional and modern living spaces, whilst still retaining it's character.

Upon entering the home, guests will enjoy the three living spaces on the ground floor, all of which have underfloor heating.

The main living room, with it's stylish decor and period features, is the perfect place to unwind and catch a movie on it's 4k Smart television complete with Netflix and Disney Plus, and seating for 10 people.

There is a separate games room for the kids, fully equipped with Nintendo Switch, and various board games for everyone to enjoy.

The open plan living and dining area, with its well appointed kitchen, large 10 seat dining table, 4k television with Netflix and Disney Plus, makes it perfect place to dine in style. There's an additional south facing seating area to the rear, leading onto bi-folding doors that overlook the homes courtyard garden. Opening the bi-folding doors further enhances the seating area, creating a perfect blend of indoor and outside space. The perfect spot for a morning coffee, or a glass of wine in the evening.

The south facing courtyard garden has an outdoor setting that can be expanded to seat 10 people comfortably. Perfect for those summer months.

Walking up the bespoke oak staircase has you arriving on the first floor which comprises of three bedrooms, and two bathrooms.

Bedroom 1 - Is south facing and contains a double bed with stylish decor, the rooms 3 meter ceilings create a bright and airy feel.

Bedroom 2 - Overlooks the front of the property and retains it's original fire place. The room has a double bed and tasteful plush furnishings creating a warm and cosy space.

Bedroom 3 - With its super king bed, double sash windows, and tastefully appointed furniture, will ensure guests awake feeling refreshed and well rested.

Bathroom 1 - A beautiful family bathroom suite, with shower, bath, and vanity unit, with a back-lit and anti fog mirror.

Bathroom 2 - Contains a luxurious walk-in shower, with vanity unit, with a back-lit and anti fog mirror.

Making your way up to the second floor, takes you onto a landing and a further two bedrooms and en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom 4 - Is housed in the front gable of the home. The space is unique and cozy and has two full size single beds. With its unique miniature sash windows, and charming angles, this is a room guests are sure to love.

Bedroom 5 - Has views of the York Minster, and is South facing. The room contains a double bed, work station, and its own en-suite bathroom, equipped with walk-in shower and vanity unit with back-lit and anti fog mirror.

To the front of the property,there is a forecourt garden space. Guests will have permission to utilise the driveway which will require care when reversing onto, as well as use of one residential on-street parking permit.

Additional parking is available upon request.

Please note, that although a travel cot is provided, you will need to bring your own travel cot bed linen.


One parking space is available onsite, with an additional space on-street. More parking in the area is available, and guests should contact us prior to booking so we can advise.

CHECK IN is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am.

Fantastic house and location!

The home was wonderful-very clean, thoughtfully laid out, well decorated, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The location is a short walk from the center of York. Communication with the host was great and responses were quick and clear. We had a minor medical issue while we were there and Anna went above and beyond to help us navigate the healthcare system since we aren’t UK citizens. The home is great and I would recommend it. The hospitality of the hosts made a great stay even better.

Immaculate property in York

We stayed here as an extended family group, and it's one of the best-equipped rental properties we have ever stayed in. The property was immaculately clean, furnished to a high standard throughout and accommodated 10 of us with no problem. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay in York!

This house was perfect for a group of 9 of us visiting York for the weekend. The house is as nice as the photos show and very well maintained. It’s in a good location and easy to find. The hosts of this property, Nathan and Anna, were very welcoming and excellent in comnunicating efficiently both before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting York!
