As a titanium lifetime Bonvoy member, I thought I had experienced a lot of great properties, but this one surprised me! Obviously targeting a younger clientele, but still super comfortable, fun, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! I will be looking at Moxy properties for my future stays!

Overall our staying was good, but in our room there was no hot water in the shower, however the hotel provided us another room with complimentary drinks on our choice which was quite pleasant. The location is very quiet and convenient with ease access to all main sightseeings, pubs and restaurants. Definitely recommend this hotel for your to stay.

Check in was really easy and we got a free drink which was nice. Room was clean and quiet, which is surprising as our room was directly across from the lifts (elevators). Second night was great in the bar as there was an open mic event on nice and relaxed and a nice place to have some drinks. I would recommend staying here and will certainly return to Moxy York in the future as the hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the central areas

One of the better Moxy’s I’ve been to, not least because of the display of Yorkshire Tea & Taylor’s tea alongside teapots for breakfast. The twin beds are very narrow though.

Very nice modern hotel in a very quiet area but convenient for everything. Close to the City Center. Shops , dining, local attractions all in walking distance. I discovered that its better for a short stay because the rooms are minimal. There are no closets or wardrobes. No drawers for clothing. A couple of pegs on the wall with 3 hangers. I stayed for 5 days and never unpacked my suitcase. Recommend no more than a weekend stay.

Unbelievably bad.

There was scaffolding right outsode my window, i was woken up by builders at 8am dropping bricks down a rubush chute. I told the staff and they literally didnt care. I wasnt warned before booking or upon arrival. The worst hotel stay of my entire life.

Great Vibe

All the staff were very attentive and helpful - actually felt like they enjoyed working at the hotel. Within easy walking distance to the city centre. We parked at Morrisons using Justpark and it was a 5 min walk to the #hotel - easy!! will return and happy to recommend..

Modern look I had not encountered before, but the staff were so incredibly friendly and positive. The facilities were bright and very clean, the vibes most definitely’good’ throughout the hotel. I would recommend if travelling to York, no question. Thank you for such a comfortable stay.
