Portland apartment is our stunning new apartment located in a terrific spot just a 5 minutes' walk from the centre of York.
Located on Gillygate, one of the popular streets of York, with restaurants, shops and bars within a minutes' walk. It's the perfect spot, if you are wanting a luxury apartment to relax in after a long day exploring the beautiful city of York. Just a few minutes stroll from York's biggest attractions.
Heading into the apartment you will instantly notice the quirky layout of the apartment. Opening the apartment door, you will find a cosy separate dining area with a large window looking onto the street. A dining table to seat up to 4 guests, perfect for eating any type of meal, whether it be a takeaway ordered from one of York's variety of take out restaurants or a home cooked meal.
The living room offers a welcoming space with 2 extremely comfortable sofas and a large flat screen Tv perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city.
The kitchen comes equipped with all the appliances and utensils you could need to make a simple meal, including a cooker, microwave, electric kettle etc.
There is a also a washer/dryer kept in the utility cupboard for your use.
The main bathroom consists of modern tiling throughout, a large corner bathtub and a walk in shower. There is a toilet in a separate room.
Sleeping 3 Guests, this apartment consists of 2 cosy yet spacious bedrooms.
The first bedroom you will come to is a spacious room with a comfortable single bed there is also a flat screen tv with built in Dvd player.
The 2nd Bedroom, consists of a cosy double bed, dressing table, large flat screen tv and spacious wardrobe/storage area.
Both bedrooms are furnished to an extremely high standard with modern contemporary decor. All bed linen is of an excellent hotel quality and luxury towels are provided throughout your stay. and cosy yet contemporary décor.
This property offers Free parking for one car in a private car park at the back of the property. Free high speed WIFI is provided throughout the apartment for the duration of your stay. The little yet essential things such as a hair dryer and iron/ ironing board are also provided, making it easier for you to pack for your stay! This family friendly property is in the perfect spot just a short walk in to the centre of York. Suitable for any length of stay, you can guarantee you will not be disappointed upon arriving.

Our Stay was brilliant.

We had a great visit to York and our place off Gillygate was brilliant. Perfect location for us with great access to the city and only minutes from super shops, restaurants and city highlights. Having an off road parking space was also extremely valuable, and the host was quick to follow up on any queries and support our stay. I'm sure we'll be back in the future!

Great location, the flat was right in the centre of York so it was very easy to get to all the local attractions. The fact that it has a parking space is an added advantage of this flat. Communication with the host was great before and during the stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
