It's a cool and modern property. The location is great, since it is close to town center (walkable) and the hotel is practically built into a shopping mall. There are stores and restaurants. There are meeting facilities. And public transportation stops outside the front entrance. The vibe and deco is cool. The only thing that is a little odd is the view from your room, because it seems it pretty much does not matter where your room is, you are always looking into a dark alleyway or a wall. But that comes with the setting in central Zurich. It's nice that the hotel has parking, which is always a benefit in a place like Zurich. The parking right below the hotel is limited, but if they run out of spots, you can park in the garage under the shopping center. That's a short(ish) walk, but it is OK.

Absolutely loved this hotel and location. We easily reached it by the Zurich HB train station and the above ground metro was steps away so you could get anywhere in minutes. Property is right next to the mall and numerous restaurants and groceries. The hotel was nicely appointed and super comfortable. Check-in was easy and our room was ready around noon so we were allowed early check in. Breakfast is expensive but delicious so nice for a treat but I’d rather eat something light from COOP store OR Fooby. We had complimentary mini bar at check in with one round of soda, water and beer for free. We had sandwiches and fries one night in the bar that was delicious. Definitely stay here if headed to Zurich!

I stayed at the Home Hotel when my wife and I were in Zurich on honeymoon. We visited 6 European countries and the Home Hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The room was incredibly comfortable, the bed was wonderful (we both have bad backs and we both slept like babies) and the HUGE shower was great. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

I had a pleasant stay at The Home Hotel in Zurich. The location is very convenient, with easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city simple and stress-free. The hotel has a clean, minimalist (lean) design that feels modern and efficient without being cold. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, adding a warm touch to the experience.
