Vintage Hawaiian charm and hospitality. Some renovation work taking place in the Lagoon Tower which had no impact on our stay. I hope they don’t price out the budget travelers by going upscale. Our room was clean, comfortable. Partial ocean view was much better than expected. The view and dining experience at Don the Beachcombers was superb. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. I’ve stayed here before and return for the value and Hawaiian ambience sadly missing from some of the other resorts in the area.

Reservation system in place is extremely problematic, absolutely and absurdly insane. There truly is no rhyme or reason to it. There is no direct Reservation process in place. No help with it either. Resort has little to no parking especially for $25 a day charge. The resort is very outdated with small beds but very clean and great location. Staff is friendly.

We loved this property! The restaurant was very good and had beautiful views. The pool area is right on the water. We were on the second floor that was being renovated. It wasn’t bad though and the view from our room was worth it. You couldn’t be any closer to the ocean. We loved our stay here and will absolutely be coming back.
