Book a hotel near Spadina Avenue Shopping District, Downtown Toronto

"The location of this hotel is great! So close to the vibrant Queen Street shops and theatre district. The staff were truly exceptional at the Riu, and would anticipate your needs in advance. When my husband and I were coming in from a day out, staff would race over to the elevator corridor and call the elevator for us so it was waiting for us when we needed it. When I was waiting for my husband to park the car, Ali very thoughtfully grabbed me an ice water to enjoy while I waited. These types of thoughtful gestures were truly noticed and appreciated. The rooms were small, but had everything you needed and were nicely decorated. I did find it odd that you couldn’t get CBC news on the TV, but there were other news stations to tune into. Also, like others have mentioned the full American style breakfast buffet was great and offered many different choices for the guests. The only negative we found about the hotel was that the hallways have a vinyl flooring that makes pulling your luggage effortless, but it doesn't absorb any noise like carpeting does, so it was loud in the middle of the night when people came back late with door slamming and elevators dinging. Despite that, this hotel was lovely and I would recommend it to others. The staff really made the experience."
