Time for an upgrade
The hotel is outdated and worn. The electric issues with the plugs are a fire hazard. The box spring is not covered. It’s overdue for some upgrades Bed was ok. Pillows not so much. When we sat on the bed with thought it wasn’t going to be good but did have a good sleep. Staff were excellent

Our condo was in shambles. Broken cupboards, dirty, have the stove burners didn't work, the hood had no vent or even a filter so we were very worried a smoke alarm was going to go off. 2 (possibly more) electrical outlets worked if you jiggled or put pressure on them (really safe). Staff were robots.

Staff was friendly checking in and our room was easy to find with parking right out front. The pool could use a could overall cleaning (sweeping, vaccuming the carpeted stairs/hallway leading to it, spraying down the deck and cleaning the change rooms entirely) but our boys loved the water slides and the indoor play structure. We’d rent again for sure

Mountain getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the Douglas Fir Resort. It feels like a true mountain getaway when you can even light a wood fire and enjoy that while looking out at the mountain view. The only disappointing issue was the very worn out hideabed; fortunately I had brought a camping mattress that gave me a better sleep the second night.
