It was an okay, overpriced rundown choice. Find if you're caught in a pinch but look for something else if you can.

Nice hotel, parking fees ridiculously high

Pros: The location was good for where we needed to go.
Cons: The parking! It was in a public lot under the hotel, the prices went from high on the weekend to OMG! on the weekdays.
Location: The hotel was near family, which is why we went, but not far to any other parts of the city.
This hotel was nice, near where we needed to go, but parking was at a municipal lot and the fees were high on the weekend and ridiculously high on the weekdays. The bed was on the soft side and not good for my back. Per the front desk clerk, they are renovating within the year and are asking for suggestions, like replacing the beds. The restaurant in the hotel was pricey and not always open. It's good there were a lot of other places nearby, especially for breakfast. Instead of a drink machine, there were items in the mini-bar, but those were WAY to pricey to use. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Dear Robin, Thank you so much for your review regarding your last stay with us. It is great to hear that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful and our hotel to be centrally located. I am sorry to learn that you were not satisfied with our beds. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. Your feedback for our renovation plans are therefore even more appreciated. Thank you for letting us know. Our newly refurbished and very popular restaurant "Signatures" is indeed closed on Mondays, however, we do provide alternative culinary experiences to our registered guests throughout the hotel at our Skylounge, the Proof Bar and also through our Private Dining. Dear Robin, thank you once again for sharing your valuable feedback with us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Sincerely, Gerasimos Ferentinos General Manager InterContinental Toronto Yorkville

The Toronto Intercontinental

Pros: See above
Cons: I had a nice big window with a view of a block wall. I do know in a city setting this sometimes cannot be avoided.
Location: See above
This hotel is in a great location and had a really good workout facility. There is a Starbucks close by and some great restaurants in the area. The room was good sized, clean and comfortable. It had a good TV, nice bathroom (bath tub and separate shower). the staff was very nice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I was there on business and the hotel was close to the offices and facilities I needed to visit. Great Place!

Great hotel in best location!

Pros: Location and room were top notch.
Cons: Very poor bathroom lighting. Extremely dark for putting on makeup. A pretty bathroom, so it was a shame.
Location: Best in Toronto. Yorkville neighborhood is sunny, high end with great shopping and food all around.
We had a roomy, king bedded room with a view of the trees. The hotel is in Toronto's nicest city neighborhood, with great shopping and eating all around. Pleasant staff and surprisingly great hotel for less money than some of the more prestigious hotels in the city.

Excellent staff and beautiful rooms.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, comfortable beds, great staff
Cons: No free Internet
Stayed in Toronto 3 nights in August for a wedding. The hotel is beautiful and the two queen room was much more spacious than I have had at conferences, and it was cheaper than I have paid in other cities. My family made a mistake on the reservation and the staff was extremely helpful. They made us feel very welcome, even though the front entrance was under construction. I was a little worried about the small pool, as we had half a dozen kids with us for the wedding, but they had lots of fun and the didn't mind the size of the pool at all. The beds were very, very comfortable and the brunch was delicious. Everything was within walking distance or a short walking distance. It was great. Would definitely recommend it.

Great location, nice hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
The room was comfortable, great location, staff was accommodating. The noise from the street three floors down was excessive at times though.
