This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. The apartment looked nothing like the pictures in the listing and was dirty, outdated, and misrepresented. The floors were covered in crumbs and hair, carpets badly stained, headboards dusty, closets full of random junk, and one bedroom had no working lights. The sliding doors were broken, and the bathrooms had clumps of hair on the floor. We even had to buy our own cleaning supplies to make the place livable, which is unacceptable given the high fees. Additionally, the “third bedroom” was not a private room at all but an open space off the living room with sliding doors - something that was never disclosed in the listing.
On top of this, GlobalSTAY was completely unresponsive when we raised our concerns on the first day. They ignored all messages via email and WhatsApp, and when we finally reached them by phone, we were told a supervisor “wasn’t there but would email us later" - no follow-up ever came. It’s now been nearly a week since checkout, and we still haven’t received any correspondence or our security deposit back.
Future travellers: beware. While the location of this property is great, it is most definitely not worth booking - especially at the current price point. It is poorly maintained, and run by a company that does not support or communicate with guests. Avoid both this apartment and GlobalSTAY altogether.
