Beautifully appointed and ideally located for all sorts of outdoor adventures, this condo will show you the best of Blue Mountain Resort in every season! Walk or ski home from the mountain's slopes on winter afternoons, and spend summer days enjoying your private deck, the seasonal swimming pool, and the community's tennis courts. No matter the time of year, you can cap your evenings with a homemade dinner prepared in the kitchenette (no oven), and a movie or two in the warmth of the fireplace.

This condo is part of the North Creek Resort complex, which sits less than a quarter-mile from the Weider Express High-Speed Lift on the north side of Blue Mountain Resort. You'll be mere steps from a stop for the free resort shuttle bus, which connects to dozens of shops and restaurants in Blue Mountain Village less than a mile south. Come summer, the property is one mile south of Northwinds Beach on South Georgian Bay (a wonderful spot for swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding), one mile north of Monterra Golf (and within a 12-mile drive of four other courses), and an easy, 20-mile day trip from Wasaga Beach.

The shared pool is typically open from just after Victoria Day Weekend in May through Labour Day Weekend in September. Dates are subject to change.
Charcoal is not provided for the shared charcoal grill.
This home is near but not associated with the Blue Mountain Resort.

The photo's were a bit misleading as was the description of the accommodations. It's much smaller and almost an open concept plan so not really suitable for as many guests as indicated.

No communication with host

Overall the experience was good. Would we book again probably but not with this host. Prior to our stay we saw a review that said internet, cable and tv were not working. I contacted to owner and they did not address whether the issues would be fixed but I gave them ample time to fix the issues. When my family arrived the t.v technician was in the unit. He notified us that the tv was broken and that they would need authorization from the owner of the unit to replace the tv. That being said the tv was not fixed for the 3 days we stayed because the owner would not respond. As for the internet that would not work as well. The property managers at front desk kept saying they would send a technician . So a family member had to constantly stay back because they kept changing the times and dates. In the end no internet for us. It was frustrating because the small children we had got bored in the unit with no cable no internet the tv itself was broken. Lastly, not included in the description is the unit is located on the second floor. We were travelling with a senior citizen who could barely make it to the unit.

Not what I expected

Could have been great had some basics been tended to.. For one, you can tell this property has housed some rowdy people in the past, faucets are loose, coffee table wobbly etc. no big deal though. Was disappointed that the T.V. was not working, we called an attendant who got the WIFI working thank goodness , but it appeared the cable bill had not been paid, fortunately we had a speaker to at least listen to music while we were there. Would have been nice if the kitchen had some basics like sugar or coffee filters but again not a deal breaker. I was however astounded that one of my guests came across a crusty towel, and the main floor bed had some questionable stains on the duvet. I must also say the unit is really only meant to sleep 6 people as the "pull out couch" only has an ottoman on wheels that pops up to fit in the empty space of the "L" couch- only problem is its on wheels so whoever sleeps there will keep sinking into the crack as it rolls away, but the sleeping situation was not very comfortable upstairs either. Heads up the pool is only open till 8:45 *If you like to cook, bring a chef knife as the only options are steak knives.

Not As Advertised

This property is listed as a Sleeps 8 with 2 bunk beds. Upon arrival, there was only 1 bunk bed.....there is no way that this place will sleep 8 comfortably. The WiFi and Cable did not work....called the front desk, and they could not fix it or do anything to rectify the situation. Most of the upstairs lights did not work, leaving a lamp to light up the upstairs loft. I had to use my Cell Phone flash light half of the time to give it more light. Manager was emailed with no return response. This place will sleep 6 at best.....bring a magazine or deck of cards for the times you are staying inside. Overall location was great....only 5 min from the Village.

Nice Ski In/Out Condo

It is truly ski in - ski out, but only until 4:30 pm when the ski lift on that end of the mountain closes. If you want to ski later than that you'll need to shuttle or drive. There is no ski storage available with the unit. You could store your skis on the deck, but it is a 2nd story unit, so you would have to carry them upstairs and through the living room to get to the deck. We just kept ours in our vehicle. There is plenty of room in the condo for storing ski boots, though. The unit slept 6 comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped. The microwave also served as a convection oven and worked great. The washer/dryer was nice for dying damp ski clothing. There were no instruction for the TV or wi-fi but we figured that out pretty quickly. We couldn't make the fireplace unit work, but the remote may have needed batteries.
