The Space:

Snow settles softly along the hillside as you arrive, the air crisp and still above Whistler Village. Inside, the glow of the fireplace draws you in, offering warmth after time spent carving along the mountain. Evenings unfold between forest views and the soothing pull of the private hot tub, a quiet place to rest beneath winter skies.



Living spaces

Vaulted ceilings and large windows shape a bright, welcoming gathering space where you can settle in with a movie, warm up by the indoor fireplace, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Heating and air conditioning keep the home comfortable through shifting mountain weather, while the dedicated workspace and wifi make it easy to connect when needed.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is equipped with the essentials for preparing meals, complete with major appliances and plenty of room to cook. A six-seat dining table brings everyone together for breakfast before the slopes or for relaxed dinners after a day outside, and the breakfast bar offers an easy spot for coffee.



Sleeping arrangements

The top-floor primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, Bluetooth speaker, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed bathtub, overhead shower, and single vanity. On the lower level, one bedroom includes a queen bed and another offers a queen and twin bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom, and a powder room sits conveniently on the main floor.



Outdoor living

Step from the living room onto the private deck to take in the alpine air. Outdoor furniture provides a place to pause during the day, while the BBQ grill makes winter cooking simple. The private hot tub is a standout after cold-weather adventures, offering a quiet soak surrounded by the hillside landscape.



Comfort & convenience

You’ll have in-unit washer and dryer, essentials such as towels and bed linens, and practical touches including a safe, ironing setup, and clothing storage. A single-car garage and driveway parking support easy arrivals, with boot warmers and equipment storage ready for ski days. Self check-in is available through a smart lock, and long term stays are welcome.



Ski access

Seasonal ski access connects to the Lower Olympic Run via an intermediate trail. The ski-in route ends above the Northern Lights enclave, requiring guests to descend approximately 100 stairs to reach the neighbourhood. Ski-out involves climbing the same stairs and returning along the trail to rejoin the Lower Olympic Run. Access is typically available from late December through March, depending on snow conditions.

You’re about a 12-minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive or taxi ride from the village’s shops, restaurants, and gondolas, keeping mountain activities within easy reach while offering a peaceful retreat at day's end.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Northern Lights is perched just above Whistler Village, offering a quiet and scenic setting with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Guests enjoy a short walk to the village and the Valley Trail, as well as access to an intermediate-level ski-in/ski-out trail from Whistler Mountain. Perfect House for Our Group

We are a group of 3 couples who love to ski, shop eat and drink. The location was perfect for all our needs. We drove to the parking when the weather was raining and walked into the Village when the sun was shining. We all had ample space to relax, cook, play games and sleep. Would definitely stay again!

The VRBO was very nice along with management extremely helpful . The only negative was there was no snow just rain so ski in ski out was a challenge. There is no Uber or Lyft in Whistler and getting a cab was difficult.

Nice unit and not too terrible for ski in/ski out. Climbing stairs to ski out would be tough with kids. Easy walk to village. Only issue was the hot tub only worked for 1 of the 6 nights.
