This is NOT a hotel, motel, inn or a hostel. This property was extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. We were woken up at 3:20AM by someone who was screaming that seemed like they were being harmed. The bedsheets were used and the comforter was full of stains, very old and worn out, as well as mold on the mattress cover. The bathroom was not cleaned and there was hair all over the walls and floor. The tiles behind the bathroom sink were not attached to the wall and needed to be held up to turn on the taps. Furthermore, when you turned on the sink, the water went down into a bucket underneath that smelled horrible! There are laundry machines in the room that had other peoples items in it and shoved behind it. There were mouse traps under the bed and big jugs of soap. The floors had not been swept or mopped. Also, the A/C unit and mini refrigerator did not work.

I was moved to a different location. So I can not comment on the location. The other location at 31 Grange Street was okay but the bathroom in Unit 25 needs a serious cleaning of the fans. I have pictures.

Cheap place in Chinatown

Pros: The Wi-Fi had good signal throughout the building.
Cons: The building need air a better HVAC system and better security.
Location: The building is in the Heart of Chinatown and couple of blocks from Kennsington Market. It is also close to the Spadina and Dundas streetcar lines.
The building is tucked away behind a condo under construction. When I arrived I was asked not to wear shoes inside the building. The building has no elevator. The room was small with no TV and a bed that looked like something you would buy at IKEA. The bathroom had a had soap and shampoo that appeared to be left by the previous guests and the toilet paper rolls were locked to a towel rack with a bicycle lock. There were two towels with the room but no wash rags. The first night was I slept pretty good. However, the remaining night I had great difficulty falling asleep due to the hot and humid nights. The building nor the room has air conditioning. On the last day of my stay, the house keeper opened the door of my room without knocking.
