I didn’t think this hotel was unique. It appeared to me as if they booked every last room to every last person they found. It was crowded. We could barely use the elevators that worked. It just seemed like they were trying to squeeze out whatever rooms they had and sold them to Best loads of people coming in.

I like the location of the hotel and the options for dining. I did not like the lack of staff assistance or crowd control. I did not like the dated facilities and most important. I did not like there was no security from the beach onto the hotel. I literally saw a homeless person walk in walk into their reflecting pond and walk right up to the lobby. I did not feel I was protected there.

The noise in the hallways and courtyard at 1-3am was unreal. The beds are ROCK hard. The pools were cloudy with nasty stuff floating in it. The buffet was the same stuff every day. We ended up spending most our time at the Riu Vallarta because it was so much better. Would never come back to this resort.

Got in bed and a bee was under the blankets. I am allergic. We called down for help and the front desk staff claimed they did not understand even though we were using a translator. Told us they couldn’t help and then hung up. Meanwhile my foot swelled and I could not walk on it for the rest of our stay. This is abuse.

I have stayed here twice and having really enjoyed my stays both times. The restaurants and the room amenities are great here. I prefer the pool at the Riu next door that we are aloud to use. The only thing is it doesn’t have an actual lobby bar to hang out at after the evening shows. The evening shows are same as any other resort I’ve stayed at.

All over is good but new experience they don’t have any lotion and conditioner in room . This resort rooms looks old need more renovations to look more better . Food is excellent but same menu everyday.Staff is friendly but most of employees don’t under stand English. Gym equipment very old and cleaning and washrooms need renovation and cleaning person should look after well we noticed no hand soap in both men’s and ladies washroom one weeks. Entertainment is excellent. Service is great.

We enjoyed our stay but would have to say once you visit Vallarta down the road, you see the drastic differences. Pool, food and overall vibe were just not as good. Prices for the two are not that far off from one another so I'd recommend
