The location is isolated. The road to the hotel is not paved. The food quality is not high. The beach is dirty and can't be used. Most staff speak no English.

The hotel and everything was beautiful, however, the beach area right now is not. There was a lot of sargassum, so you couldn’t really get in it and swim. Pools and bars close early so that was a downer close early at 8pm and then the water park closed at 5pm. Food and drinks were okay but not what was expected for being a Hyatt hotel/resort, and then for being by the sea, you would think there would be a lot of fresh seafood options.

If you are expecting a beautiful beach, you’re going to be disappointed. The beach is so small and dirty. Find some other resort in the Zona Hoteleira. The stuff that works in the restaurant and bars are great, very nice people. The rooms are very clean. One major advice, don’t fall for the invitation to go see other hotel, they say you can get a 100 gift card, if go for the 2 hours tour with the other hotel, but is a big scam, they are trying to sell you some very expensive World of Hyatt membership. Stay away from this scam

I was not impressed with the fact that even though we had a premium room, we were harassed from the second we got our room key with a sales pitch to go look at other Hyatt properties in Cancun. Just like when exiting the airport. Then on several other night other vendors were allowed on property to sell their goods and harass you on your way to go eat dinner. The room was great, the grounds and pool were great, the beach was tolerable. But for these reasons we will not be back. I come on vacation to avoid harassment

Had 3 rooms. At first, the rooms were ready. Then we were told not- if we paid an upgrade fee, they would be. We declined. They started out wanting a large amount of money. So we just went to the pool. At 3 pm, we returned to the desk, and they tried another upsell. We said no again. Another family with kids was having the same problem. During the week, others had the same problem I have been to this resort before. It's run-down. Pier-damaged-no longer usable, beach has shrunk, seaweed bad, outlets don't work, leaky toilets, bad air conditioning, no cheese for burgers, cabanas not worth the price. During the day, the adult sports bar is the kids' club. After 5 pm, an adult sports bar with pool tables & other games. A young boy was sitting at the bar all by himself after 11 pm. They burned the steaks, burned food on the food bar. Claim you only need reservations for the Japanese Steakhouse, and for the others, you will have a long wait. Cancun & Playa del Carmen are equal distance. The ride is expensive for 3 people. The pool is deeper than stated. The spa is outdated, and the equipment doesn't work. Pick a different resort until they get their act together. Look me up on Facebook if you need more info. Bathrooms did not have soap. Bring sanitizer or wipes with you to the pool. The no soap was a problem all around the resort.
